Data Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a commercially minded Data Analyst to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning data into actionable insights and influencing business decisions.

You’ll play a key role in analysing performance, identifying trends, and delivering clear, data-driven recommendations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
• Use Advanced Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling) to manipulate and analyse data.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide insight-driven solutions.
• Present findings in a clear and meaningful way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support business decision-making through data visualisation and reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong skills in Advanced Excel (essential).
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI (essential).
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable

• Experience with SQL or other data querying tools.
• Background in [insert industry if relevant].
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Understanding of data warehousing or ETL processes.
