Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a growing specialist façade company based in Stratford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, and façade systems to take on a key role within an expanding design team.
The successful candidate will have around 5 years of experience within façade design management and will be confident overseeing design processes from concept through to delivery. This role has been created due to continued business growth and expansion within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the design process for rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, and façade systems.
- Work closely with architects, consultants, engineers, clients, and internal project teams.
- Review technical drawings, design specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure designs are delivered in line with project deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Lead design meetings and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the wider team as the company continues to grow and expand.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Around 5 years of experience in a Design Manager or similar façade design role.
- Strong knowledge of rainscreen cladding and curtain walling systems is essential.
- Previous experience working within façade, envelope, or specialist façade sectors.
- Excellent technical understanding of design coordination and construction detailing.
- Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills.
