Looking for a DT teaching role in a supportive secondary school environment?
Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Solihull seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach DT across KS3 and KS4.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom seeking a positive and balanced working environment.

- Teach Design & Technology across KS3βKS4
- Deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons
- Support studentsβ progress and practical skill development
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards
- Work collaboratively with the DT department
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Practical, creative, and engaging teaching approach
- Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic
