The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork includes:

• Estimator position dealing with a range of woodwork and joinery projects for the fit-out sector
• Whilst primarily an Estimator position, the successful candidate will also support procurement and operational activities, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork with

• Must have Design experience within the Woodworking or Joinery sector
• Highly advantageous to have previous experience on retail fit-out projects
• Would be beneficial to come from the tools (joiner / machinist etc.)
• Ideally have AutoCAD experience, open to 2D or 3D
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full UK driving license
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
