Despatch Co-ordinator

Despatch / Spares Co-ordinator - £13.70 per hour - Based in Duffryn, Newport, South Wales - 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday) - 28 days holiday, On site parking, Pension. Temporary ongoing position to start ASAP.

We are recruiting a Despatch / Spares co-ordinator for our global manufacturing client based in Newport, South Wales - this is a long term temporary position to start immediately. Initially this will be a days role, but will change to an early and late shift pattern so you must be flexible in your working hours (shift allowance will be paid).

Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role to the Despatch / Spares Co-ordinator will involve packing and labelling goods and kit to be despatched to customers. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a stores, warehouse or despatch environment.

Duties will include:

• Picking parts and labelling
• Preparing goods to be despatched (both in UK and overseas)
• Using computers to produce lists and labels
• General Warehouse duties

Required skills and experience:

• Good IT skills - knowledge of SAP or MRP systems would be preferred
• Forklift / counterbalance licence (Preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience working in warehouse or stores environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
