Duties of a of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems and diagnostic software
  • Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Repair and replace faulty components in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance to the highest standards
  • Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately to ensure compliance
  • Conduct road tests to verify fault resolutions prior to finalising job tickets
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and ensure a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of a of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair or an equivalent qualification
  • Good knowledge of automotive electronic systems and diagnostic software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a professional approach and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
