We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, premium franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff.

The successful Vehicle Technician will work within a busy Service Department, maintaining high standards of vehicle repair and diagnostics in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles
  • Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer and dealership quality standards
  • Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller
  • Maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance standards
  • Follow all health and safety procedures relevant to the role
  • Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet workload targets
  • Keep detailed records of work carried out and ensure compliance with warranty processes
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Ideally 1-2 years practical experience post-qualification
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed team player
  • Capable of maintaining high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to work towards team targets and continuous development
