Henley recruitment are seeking an expereinced document controller / adminsitrator to join a young, ambitious, and rapidly growing company operating within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting both office and site-based operations.

Duties

  • Managing and maintaining project documentation and company records.
  • Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries to sites.
  • Liaising with site teams and assisting with the organisation of labour and resources.
  • Daily communication with company directors regarding project progress and operational requirements.
  • Monitoring and updating project trackers, schedules, and document registers.
  • Ensuring documentation is accurately filed and readily accessible.
  • Supporting general administrative functions across the business.
  • Assisting with the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller, Project Administrator, or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Experience within the construction, M&E, or engineering sectors is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a site-based environment would be a significant advantage.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing business.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
