Skid Steer Operator – Fly-Tip Clearance Project

Rate: £18- 25p/h

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join a fly-tip clearance project. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a skid steer loader to assist with the safe removal and loading of illegally dumped waste and general site clearance activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a skid steer loader safely and efficiently.
• Load waste, rubble, soil, and debris into skips and haulage vehicles.
• Assist with site clearance and ground reinstatement works.
• Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
• Work alongside site supervisors and waste management teams.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS A23 Skid Steer Loader or NPORS N032 Skid Steer Loader ticket.
• Previous experience operating skid steer loaders.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Desirable

• CSCS Card.
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
• Previous experience in waste management, remediation, or site clearance projects.
