The Role
As an Early Career Teacher of Science, you will:
• Teach engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster curiosity, critical thinking and a love of scientific enquiry.
• Create a positive classroom culture that promotes high standards and achievement.
• Use assessment effectively to support student progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues within a supportive department.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Applications are welcomed from Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists.
The successful candidate will:
• Hold QTS or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2026.
• Have a degree in a Science-related subject.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education.
• Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be eager to learn, develop and embrace professional feedback.
• Share a commitment to high expectations and student success.
