Early Years Practitioner – September 2026 Start

Location: Accrington 
Full-Time

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Accrington area, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years setting from September 2026. This role is to support a brand-new intake of pupils, making it a fantastic opportunity to help shape children’s first experiences of education.

The Role
  • Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Supporting the class teacher with observations, assessments and progress tracking
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Encouraging social, emotional and communication development
  • Working collaboratively with staff to support the needs of all pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A proactive, nurturing, and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development
