TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Leeds LS6, who are looking to recruit flexible Nursery Assistants on a day-to-day basis. These settings focus on creating safe, engaging and nurturing environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and creative activities.

The nurseries are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to support children across a variety of age groups on a flexible temporary basis. These Nursery Assistant roles are ideal for students looking to gain hands-on early years experience alongside their studies, with opportunities to work around university schedules and other commitments.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• At least 3 months previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an Early Years / School setting
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is desirable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt to different nursery settings
