• Strong department with shared resources and collaborative planning
• Mix of ability levels, with good support for SEND and EAL learners

• Teach English across KS3-KS4 (KS5 available depending on confidence)
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and support attainment
• Build positive relationships and maintain strong classroom routines
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and English department

• ECT with QTS (or pending QTS by September)
• Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
• Confident classroom presence with a willingness to learn and develop
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting all learners
• Open to feedback, coaching, and professional growth

Essex / East London border - easily accessible via public transport and road links.
