EL1 Cleared Plumber – Woking

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable EL1 Cleared Plumber to join a facilities maintenance team on a temporary or contract basis in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with previous secure-site experience to work within a professional custodial environment.

Duties Will Include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing faults across domestic and commercial systems
• Installing and maintaining pipework, sanitaryware, and water services
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
• Working efficiently within a secure prison environment
• Completing maintenance records and compliance paperwork accurately

Requirements:

• Valid EL1 Security Clearance (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience working within prisons or secure sites preferred
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
