We’re partnering with a respected M&E contractor based in Birkenhead to find a skilled Electrical Estimator. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone confident in preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions, with a sharp eye for both technical detail and commercial strategy.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit estimating team with strong operational support and a steady pipeline of projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Producing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects across commercial and public sector buildings

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing

Identifying potential risks, exclusions, and opportunities within each project scope

Collaborating with pre-construction and operational teams to align bids with delivery strategy

Supporting tender submissions and attending post-tender meetings as needed

Keeping clear documentation to support pricing strategies and cost breakdowns
Skills & Experience Required

Experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or building services sector

Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations

Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset

Relevant trade background or electrical qualifications (preferred)
