Engineering Buyer

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Engineering Buyer to join a purchasing team for an stablished engineering business. You will oversee the procurement of goods, materials, and services to support operational needs, focusing on cost efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing of engineering materials.
• Review system data daily to action stock levels and issue purchase orders.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, monitoring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contractual agreements.

Requirements:

• Procurement experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and numerical accuracy skills.

Salary is negotiable.

The contract will be made permanent for the right candidate.
