A specialist ground investigation consultancy in Exeter is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to support a growing workload across the South West.
The company delivers a mix of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, with particular expertise in ground investigations, coal mining risk assessments, and slope stability analysis. Their work spans residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
The role:
- Planning and supervising ground investigations
- Logging soils and rock to current standards
- Overseeing site works and subcontractors
- Producing factual and interpretative reports
- Supporting coal mining risk and slope stability assessments
- Liaising with clients and project teams
Requirements:
- Experience in ground investigation or engineering geology
- Strong logging and reporting skills
- Good understanding of geotechnical and geoenvironmental principles
- Experience with coal mining risk or slope stability (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Live within a commutable distance from the Exeter office
