Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a supportive secondary school environment?Winner Education are currently recruiting for an English Teacher on behalf of a well-established secondary school based in Birmingham (B42). The school is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join their English department on a full-time basis from September.
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming department with excellent support from senior leadership.
The position is full time and is expected to continue on a long-term basis with the potential for a permanent contract.
The successful English Teacher will:
- Hold QTS or QTLS
- Have experience teaching English Language and Literature
- Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
- Plan and mark lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment
