Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for Environmental Services Technicians to support waste and recycling operations and wider environmental services functions. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working as part of a busy operational team delivering essential local services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out waste and recycling duties and related environmental services tasks
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to the role
- Follow and apply health and safety procedures at all times
- Provide support and guidance to service users where required
- Assist in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient working environments
- Work effectively as part of a team in a busy operational setting
- Respond to queries and escalate issues appropriately
- Deliver work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Previous experience in Waste and Recycling or Environmental Services (desirable)
- Ability to operate tools, equipment, and vehicles (or willingness to learn)
- Understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace
- Willingness to undertake training for vehicles, tools, and equipment
