We are working with a well-established, specialist scaffolding contractor based in East Kilbride who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / QS to support their next phase of growth.

This is a key hire for the business, replacing a highly valued team member who is retiring after helping drive significant expansion. The role offers the opportunity to step into a pivotal commercial and operational position within a close-knit, growing company.

The Company

Founded by an experienced scaffolder with a focus on raising standards across the sector, the business has grown steadily and their reputation for quality as led them to enjoy regular repeat work across a range of sectors. 

They have built an excellent reputation for quality and reliability and hold specialist accreditations that position them as a preferred supplier to major blue-chip organisations. Their project pipeline is strong, with secured long-term frameworks and technically challenging work across infrastructure projects.

This is a broad, hands-on role that combines estimating, commercial management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed and accurate scaffold tenders and cost plans
  • Managing variations and valuations of live projects
  • Leading bid submissions and pre-qualification processes
  • Working closely with the Director to support ongoing project delivery and business growth
  • You will be supported by an experienced admin function, allowing you to focus on the technical and commercial aspects of the role.


This role requires scaffolding experience - proven expertise in the sector is essential to ensure a smoot transition from the role incumbent. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience in scaffolding estimating and/or quantity surveying
  • Understands the technical and commercial nuances of scaffolding works
  • Is comfortable working in a small, fast-paced business environment
  • Can operate with a high level of autonomy and take ownership of the role
  • Is practical, detail-oriented and solutions-focused
