Anderson Knight is recruiting a highly organised and proactive HR & Executive Support Administrator to join our client in Cumbernauld on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.
This is a newly created role due to increased workload across both HR and senior leadership support functions. Offering excellent variety and exposure across the business, this position will suit an experienced administrator who enjoys balancing HR responsibilities with executive-level support.
Location: Cumbernauld
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
Contract: 6-month FTC with potential to become permanent
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide high-quality support across both the HR function and the wider senior leadership team. This is a trusted role requiring discretion, professionalism and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Senior Leadership Support
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior leaders across the business
• Manage complex diaries and coordinate meetings involving multiple stakeholders
• Prepare agendas, collate meeting papers and take accurate minutes
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations and business documentation
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport and itineraries
• Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of senior stakeholders
• Maintain action logs, trackers and document control processes
• Ensure the timely and confidential distribution of information and documentation
HR Administration
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities
• Coordinate interviews and prepare recruitment documentation
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR requirements
• Assist with preparing contracts, letters and other HR documentation
• Support absence management, policy administration and employee queries
• Act as a first point of contact for HR-related administrative enquiries
• Assist with payroll administration and HR system updates where required
General Administration
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
• Maintain organised filing systems and accurate records
• Ensure all documentation is produced to a consistently high professional standard
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across administrative processes
• Provide flexible administrative support to the wider business as required
About You
• Proven experience within an administrative role that includes both executive support and HR administration responsibilities
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders at Director level or above
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Confident producing reports, presentations and professional documentation
• Experience coordinating travel and logistics for senior stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Able to work independently, use initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Experience
• Exposure to board-level support activities
• Experience using HR systems or document management systems
• Payroll administration experience
• Previous experience within a regulated or fast-moving environment
