Experienced Software Engineer, AI Services

I am currently working with a Global leader in industrial software who are looking for an Experienced Software Engineer to join their AI Services team. You will help design, develop, and scale AI-enabling platform services and public APIs that are secure, reliable, and cloud-native.
You’ll need the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in software engineering, preferably in platform or cloud-native service development, using Microsoft and .NET technologies.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, versioning, testing, and lifecycle management.
- Proficient in securing APIs, managing authentication/authorization and data privacy practices.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying scalable cloud-native services using PaaS, Docker, and Kubernetes to manage complex, containerized AI workloads.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose scalable solutions.
- Experience or familiarity with the following: Large Language Models (LLMs), AI standards, AI orchestration and agentic frameworks or AI ethics and regulations are ideal but not essential.
You will be working out of their North Cambridge based office on a hybrid basis (50% WFH), they will be moving into a new office space soon which offers ample parking and easy access whether you drive or take public transport. The position pays a salary of up to £85,000 plus benefits.
