Export Planner

Role description – depending on experience

• Export operations and administration for Export Groupage/Part Loads from UK & Ireland
• Plan Irish Export Groupage/Part Loads transiting from Ireland via UK to Scandinavia
• Liaise with transport planners, warehouse and shipping lines
• All aspects of Groupage/Part Load export operations including on call rota
• Completing Export Customs Clearances – using Descartes/Destin8
• Completing Export Transit Documentation – using Descartes

Person specification:

• Previous experience in logistics/groupage planning is preferred
• A confident and approachable person
• A high level of organisation and attention to detail
• Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
• Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
• A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
• IT literate
• A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
