EYFS Teaching Assistant - Nursery - Stratford - Full-Time or Supply Basis

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming nursery setting based in Stratford, East London.

This role is available on either a full-time basis or as flexible supply work, making it a great opportunity for candidates looking for consistent nursery work or more flexible early years opportunities.

The nursery is looking for a confident and caring EYFS practitioner who can support young children with their early development, learning, routines, and emotional wellbeing.

The Role:

• Supporting children within a nursery and early years setting
• Assisting with play-based learning and creative activities
• Supporting children with communication, social development and early learning
• Helping with daily routines, snack times, personal care and transitions
• Working closely with nursery staff, room leaders and senior leaders
• Creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment
• Supporting children on a 1:1, small group and whole-room basis where required
• Helping to promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Level 3 CACHE or above
• PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a degree in Education / Early Years Studies
• Previous nursery, EYFS or early years experience
• A strong understanding of child development and early years routines
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting young children with a range of needs
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing
