Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager and support all aspects of Facilities Management service provision.

Job Overview

This role sits within a Facilities Management team focused on delivering clear, high-quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders. The Facilities Assistant will take individual responsibility for the delivery of defined services and support across day-to-day operations and projects.

The quality of service delivered by the Facilities Management team is a core requirement and is made transparent to customers and stakeholders. As such, the role requires a proactive, organised and service-driven approach, with a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver front-of-house duties, including welcoming visitors and providing appropriate support
  • Ensure all security procedures are followed at all times
  • Provide support services, including porterage, meeting room management and managing the FM mailbox
  • Complete inductions for new starters, including health & safety and environmental inductions
  • Log, facilitate and oversee reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and HSEQ standards, including self-delivered PPMs (training provided)
  • Support traffic management plans, fire risk assessments and water hygiene arrangements as required
  • Respond to jobs as they are raised, log repairs, manage contractors and act as Facilities support for site users
