Finishing Foreman – New Build Care Home
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
 

Duration: 9 months

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to work for a medium sized main contractor on a high-quality new build care home project in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the Site and Project Manager helping to oversee all internal finishing trades on site
• Ensure all works are completed to the highest quality standards and in line with project specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily site activities related to finishing stages
• Carry out snagging and de-snagging to ensure timely project completion
• Work closely with the Site Manager to maintain programme targets
• Ensure health & safety standards are upheld at all times
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with building regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman / Manager on new build residential or care home projects
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
• Ability to manage multiple trades and meet tight deadlines
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification preferred
• First Aid certification
• Valid CSCS card
• Previous experience using snagging software  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
