Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a growing and highly respected Fire & Security company who are looking to add an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to their Manchester team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that continues to secure new contracts and invest in its engineers, offering a varied role covering servicing, maintenance, fault finding, reactive works, small works and occasional project installations.

You'll be working across a diverse range of commercial sites including major retail stores, leisure venues, casinos, hospitality sites, transport hubs and food court environments, ensuring no two days are the same.



The Role

  • Service and maintain fire and security systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • 1 in 11 Call out rota with competetive call out fee
  • Complete small works and system upgrades
  • Identify remedial works and generate quotations where required
  • Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and company procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers on site


Coverage Area

This role covers the North West, including areas such as:

  • Carlisle
  • Blackburn
  • Burnley
  • Birkenhead
  • Lake District
  • Surrounding areas

Where travel distances are significant, overnight accommodation is provided, ensuring engineers are supported and not expected to undertake excessive daily travel.

Requirements

  • Experience working on fire and/or security systems
  • Strong fault-finding and servicing experience
  • Good customer-facing skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
