We’re looking for a reliable Technical Engineer to service, maintain, and repair generator systems, both in the workshop and on-site and Support engineers over the phone with fault finding and technical advice.
The Generator Technical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair diesel and petrol generators
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
- Attend breakdowns when required
- Install and commission generators
- Support engineers over the phone with fault finding and technical advice
- Complete service reports and maintain records
- Follow Health & Safety guidelines
- Experience with generators or plant equipment
- Strong fault-finding skills (mechanical & electrical)
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Engineering qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds)
- Experience with generator brands (Perkins, Cummins, CAT)
