An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Geoenvironmental Director to lead and grow a high-performing ground engineering capability in Bristol.

This is an opportunity for a commercially aware Geoenvironmental Director to shape technical delivery across complex infrastructure and built environment projects while mentoring a talented team of engineers and consultants.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, oversee project performance, support business development activity, and provide expert technical guidance across geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations, risk assessments, reporting, and design solutions. The successful Geoenvironmental Director will play a key role in driving innovation, maintaining quality standards, and building long-term client relationships.

The business delivers projects across major infrastructure sectors and is known for its collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to practical engineering solutions. The team values proactive thinking, strong communication, and hands-on leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading geoenvironmental project delivery

Ideal candidates will have consultancy leadership experience, strong commercial awareness, and Chartered status or equivalent.

  • Live within a commutable distance of their Bristol office
