An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join a well-established and growing ground engineering consultancy based in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with initial industry experience looking to build a long-term career within geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering.

You will work on a wide range of exciting infrastructure, commercial, and development projects, gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers and geologists within a supportive team environment.

The Role

• Assisting with ground investigations and site surveys
• Soil and rock logging on site
• Supporting geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments
• Preparing factual and interpretative reports
• Assisting with laboratory scheduling and data analysis
• Supporting project delivery from site investigation through to reporting
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong interest in ground engineering and site investigation
• Good report-writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Motivated attitude and willingness to learn
