📘 Graduate Teaching Assistant - Cambridge - Start ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop behaviour management skills, and explore a future career in education.

The school is looking for a proactive, patient, and supportive individual who can work with students across a range of abilities and needs.




📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location - Cambridge

  • Position - Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Type of work - Classroom support & intervention

  • Start date - ASAP

  • Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

  • Full time/part‑time - Full time

  • Minimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30/4:00 pm




📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in any subject

  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

  • Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable)

  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress




✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK

  • Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

  • Provide two professional or character references
