Our client, a reputable multi-site franchised car dealer group in the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taf region, is seeking a dedicated Group Parts Manager to oversee their dealerships in Llandow, Talbot Green, and Rhondda.

This Group Parts Manager offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive parts professionals eager to advance their career within a well-established and progressive organisation. The Group Parts Manager will be responsible for managing multiple dealer sites, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving parts sales growth.

  • Stable working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with one in three Saturday mornings
Duties as a Group Parts Manager:
  • Lead and manage a team of three Parts Advisors across three dealership locations
  • Cover holiday and sickness periods at all sites to ensure continuous operation
  • Receive and accurately process parts orders, verifying requirements and dispatching promptly
  • Handle customer parts enquiries with professionalism and courtesy in a busy trade environment as the Group Parts Manager
  • Promote parts sales and ensure targets are achieved through proactive sales approaches
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
  • Maintain stock levels, order accuracy, and efficient stock control processes
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure optimal parts availability
  • Utilise dealer management systems (Kerridge/ADP) and electronic parts catalogues efficiently
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within a dealership parts department or motor factor environment, with managerial or supervisory exposure
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations and dealership procedures
  • Live within a manageable distance of Llandow, Talbot Green, or Rhondda for easy site access
  • IT literate, with experience using Kerridge/ADP or similar dealer management systems
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ambitious, target-driven, and able to motivate a team effectively
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a parts department is highly desirable
