A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Head Chef in Ryde, working within a well-established hospitality venue on the Isle of Wight. This role offers the chance to take ownership of an award winning kitchen, working with quality ingredients while helping shape and develop the menu offering.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards of this busy operation by:

  • Running a busy, award winning kitchen
  • Leading and developing the kitchen brigade
  • Creating and evolving seasonal menus
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Managing kitchen operations, stock, and GP targets
  • Ensuring high food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for:

The ideal Head Chef will have a strong background in quality fresh food operations and be comfortable leading a high-performing kitchen team.

  • Previous high-end restaurant experience
  • Experience within AA-Rosette venues would be preferred
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • A hands-on and motivating management style
