Join a leading provider of high-quality care and support services dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disability within the Manchester community. Working with this organisation they pride themselves on providing a compassionate, inclusive, and innovative environment and where the highest quality of care and support is provided.

We seek a skilled leader who is able to join their team on a FTC for 12 months, to ensure that teams are supported and mentored to deliver the best outcomes and support required.

The role:
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of exceptional care and support services across services across parts of Manchester for adults with learning disability and autism.
  • Manage, lead and support a team of House leaders, Care Co-ordinator and Health & Safety experts fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  • Ensure the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Support with any training and development, recruitment initiatives to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice within the organisation.
  • Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed over the weekend where required. Full time hours 37.5 per week. Some remote working available.

What you'll bring

  • Relevant professional qualification in health and social care (e.g.Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a senior care management role within the adult social care sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, compliance standards, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and operational policies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with people being supported and your teams.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous service improvement.
  • Leadership qualities including resilience, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. A firm but fair leader who is calm, professional and able to work with all people. A good sense of humour!
  • Work with the Community Leader to ensure the outcomes and objectives of the services are met.
