This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Food specialist ready to lead a successful department and drive outstanding teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.

The academy is looking for a dynamic leader who can bring creativity, innovation, and energy into the classroom while developing a curriculum that engages and challenges students of all abilities.

As Head of Food Technology, you will:

• Lead and develop the Food Technology curriculum across the department
• Deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire students
• Drive achievement and raise standards across KS3 and KS4
• Support and mentor teaching staff within the department
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment
• Play a key role in the wider Design & Technology faculty

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong leadership or department management experience
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to raising outcomes and student engagement
