Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Manager - 3-6 Month Contract
Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Heathrow, UK

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee all EH&S responsibilities at a key Heathrow site. This role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, fostering a safety-first culture, and driving continuous improvement in safety standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust safety and environmental management systems aligned with corporate standards.
• Lead and coordinate site safety meetings, audits, risk assessments, and operational safety initiatives.
• Support the implementation of hazard identification, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, hazardous substances, noise, and other legislative requirements.
• Provide expert guidance to operations on safety best practices and legislative updates.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); further leadership and technical qualifications desirable.
• Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards, with experience in audit processes being advantageous.
