Due to internal promotions and expanding operational demands, we are supporting the recruitment of 4 Health & Safety Advisors to join their established team.

The Role Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in supporting sites and operational teams across the region. This is a hands‑on, varied position where you’ll be out on sites, building relationships, advising teams, and helping to drive a positive safety culture.
A company car is provided, and you should be comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and communication of the company Health & Safety Policy
- Provide day‑to‑day H&S advice to branch and operational teams
- Assist with delivering H&S training and maintaining accurate training records
- Review CAPEX proposals to identify potential H&S risks
- Monitor and support the completion of Risk Assessments, ensuring actions are followed up
- Lead independent project work to develop best‑practice H&S processes
- Collect and report key H&S risk indicators
- Conduct site visits and ad‑hoc assessments, identifying hazards and recommending controls
- Carry out Fire Safety Risk Assessments and inspections
- Contribute to policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the central management of the Operator Licence and associated documentation
- Assist with Operator Licence visits and coordination
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel, including overnight stays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within logistics, distribution, or industrial environments
- Good understanding of H&S legislation and risk assessment processes
- A stable, well‑established organisation with a strong track record of internal promotion
