We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Mechanic in Buxton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established operation, maintaining a modern fleet of HGV vehicles and ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of HGV vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently.
• Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Plant Mechanic, Agricultural Engineer, or similar is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
