We are currently recruiting for the position of HGV Technician - Late Shift on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial vehicle workshop located in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician seeking a stable late shift role with competitive pay, ongoing training, and potential for overtime earnings.

  • Competitive basic salary of £47,000 with an OTE of approximately £48,500

  • Monday to Friday working hours, 12:30pm – 10:00pm

Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs to DVSA standards
  • Diagnosing faults and efficiently completing repairs
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections
  • Maintaining accurate workshop and vehicle records
  • Wheel alignment and tyre fitting duties
  • Assisting with general workshop duties as required
Requirements of a HGV Technician :
  • Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
  • Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle classes
