Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and operational oversight across two elderly care homes, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and residential care are consistently delivered.
- Maintain full compliance with all CQC regulations, company policies, safeguarding procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting a positive culture focused on quality care, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Take overall responsibility for occupancy levels, budgeting, financial performance, and effective resource management across both services.
- Ensure exceptional resident experiences by promoting person-centred care, dignity, independence, and wellbeing always.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including compliance, staffing, agency usage, audits, incidents, and resident satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff teams, ensuring high retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Oversee care planning, medication management, clinical governance, and risk management processes to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement action plans in response to audits, inspections, and feedback.
- Ensure both homes maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.
- Exceptional Knowledge in the Elderly Healthcare Sector
- Experience in similar role
- RGN/RMN with elderly experience
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 5
- Flexible and willing to do nights and days if required
