Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and operational oversight across two elderly care homes, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and residential care are consistently delivered.
  • Maintain full compliance with all CQC regulations, company policies, safeguarding procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting a positive culture focused on quality care, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Take overall responsibility for occupancy levels, budgeting, financial performance, and effective resource management across both services.
  • Ensure exceptional resident experiences by promoting person-centred care, dignity, independence, and wellbeing always.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including compliance, staffing, agency usage, audits, incidents, and resident satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff teams, ensuring high retention, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Oversee care planning, medication management, clinical governance, and risk management processes to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement action plans in response to audits, inspections, and feedback.
  • Ensure both homes maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.
Requirements Essential:
  • Exceptional Knowledge in the Elderly Healthcare Sector
  • Experience in similar role
  • RGN/RMN with elderly experience

Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 5
  • Flexible and willing to do nights and days if required
