I am working with an established and growing business who are looking for an additional HSE Officer to join the group wide team, with recent UK wide acquisitions, this will be a site based role at one of their original and well-established manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Group Head of Health and Safety this is a role with great career development potential

You will be:

• The main point of contact for all Health, Safety and Environmental concerns for the site
• Be a visible member of the site team, you will be promoting a strong Health and Safety culture to all
• Assisting to ensure that the existing IMS for ISO accreditations is maintained and improved
• Advise of process improvement for all operations to enable safe working
• Assist in reviewing all documentation (RAMS etc)
• Induct and monitor external contractors to ensure compliance with all site and legal requirements
• Work with the production management to ensure continued compliance in all operations

Skills Experience

• Have proven experience working in a H&S within heavy manufacturing or construction
• Qualified to NEBOSH level as a minimum
• Strong IT skills able to work with Microsoft suite of packages
• Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate at all levels
• Be able to work in a calm and controlled way under pressure
