The Role:
• Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that develop students' understanding of the world around them
• Foster curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for learning
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress with support from experienced colleagues
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department
• Develop your classroom practice through mentoring, observations and professional development opportunities
We Are Looking For:
• Trainee teachers on track to achieve QTS by September 2026
• A degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies or a related Humanities subject
• A passion for Humanities education and inspiring young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• High expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement
• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
