Your responsibilities as Hygiene Operative
- Clean production equipment, machinery and assembly areas in line with cleaning schedules and procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across floors, drains, walls, workstations and communal areas
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly in accordance with COSHH regulations and site procedures
- Complete hygiene documentation, cleaning records and verification paperwork accurately
- Support food safety requirements by maintaining an audit-ready environment throughout the shift
- Report any hygiene, chemical or safety concerns promptly to management
What we're looking for in a Hygiene Operative
- Previous experience within a food production, hygiene or industrial cleaning environment
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene and health and safety requirements
- Experience following cleaning schedules, procedures and compliance standards
- Ability to complete records and documentation accurately
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and COSHH procedures
