We are looking for a proactive and personable Insurance Advisor to join our growing Commercial Team at NFU Mutual Central Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, managing their own portfolio and becoming a trusted point of contact for local businesses.
You will play a key role in growing and retaining SME business across a broad range of industries, working closely with colleagues, insurers and customers to provide tailored insurance solutions and high-quality advice. You will undertake a full training programme to enable you to understand and deliver NFU Mutual’s products and services.
The Role
You will:
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments and customer queries
- Build strong relationships with customers and understand their individual business needs
- Provide tailored advice and recommendations and enhance customer protection through additional products and services
- Handle a portfolio of commercial insurance renewals
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer retention and growth
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent customer outcomes
- Prepare and review documentation with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all activity is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Sales or customer service experience in a customer facing environment is essential
- Previous experience in a regulated environment such as insurance or financial services is preferred but not essential
- Enjoys speaking with customers and delivering high levels of service
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, proactive and able to manage workloads effectively
- Demonstrates attention to detail and professionalism
- Enjoys working as part of a close team environment
