is delighted to be partnering with a leading business in Dundee to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Salesperson.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation within the agriculture sector, offering a varied role where you’ll play a key part in supporting customers, coordinating operations, and contributing to sales growth. Working at the centre of a busy team, you’ll build strong relationships across the industry while gaining exposure to all aspects of the sales process.
The Role
Sales & Customer Support
- Act as a first point of contact for customers, delivering a high standard of service via phone and email.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and manufacturer representatives.
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to completion, ensuring opportunities are maximised.
- Support business development activity through outbound calls, lead follow-ups, and arranging demonstrations and dealership visits.
- Assist the sales team with machine specifications and product information.
Administration & Coordination
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems with sales activity and opportunities.
- Support sales reporting, account administration, and general office processes.
- Coordinate machine transport and delivery schedules to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Process export documentation and liaise with parts, service, and administration teams.
Events & Operational Support
- Assist with the organisation of agricultural events and trade shows.
- Provide support with yard operations, including machinery movement where required.
- Assist with machine handovers, familiarisation training, and part exchange valuations.
About You
- Previous experience within sales, administration, agriculture, construction, or a similar environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and self-motivated approach.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail.
- A positive and adaptable attitude with an interest in developing a career within sales or agriculture.
