About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and driven Junior Surveyor to join our client’s expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic construction business, gaining valuable exposure to groundworks and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the commercial team with day-to-day quantity surveying duties

• Preparing and completing take-offs from drawings and specifications

• Supporting cost planning and procurement activities

• Assisting in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts

• Contributing to project cost analysis and tender reviews (where experience permits)

• Working closely with senior surveyors and project teams to support successful project delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience in a surveying or construction-related role is preferred

• Groundworks experience is desirable but not essential

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and career development

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

• A motivated and ambitious attitude with a genuine interest in the construction industry
