The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Designer to join a growing modular construction business delivering innovative offsite projects across the UK.

This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects from concept through to manufacturing and site delivery, leading technical design coordination across a range of modular building solutions. You'll work closely with project, production and technical teams to ensure designs are commercially viable, technically robust and deliverable.

The business is continuing to invest heavily in modern methods of construction and offers genuine long-term progression opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

• Leading projects from concept design through to manufacture and delivery.
• Producing and coordinating detailed Revit models and technical drawings.
• Managing design programmes and technical deliverables.
• Coordinating design information with internal teams, consultants and clients.
• Supporting manufacturing and construction teams with technical solutions.
• Ensuring designs comply with Building Regulations and industry standards.
• Managing design changes and technical queries throughout project delivery.
• Supporting BIM processes and digital design coordination.
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the design team.
• Driving continuous improvement across design processes and standards.

About You

• Strong experience within design for modular, offsite or construction projects.
• Advanced Revit experience essential.
• Strong technical detailing and coordination skills.
• Experience managing projects through the full design lifecycle.
• Understanding of light gauge steel, hot rolled steel or modular systems preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to develop within a growing business.
