Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Make a Difference Every Day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils in a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to pupils across the curriculum.
- Work with individuals and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and resource management.
- Monitor and record pupil progress where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
