Orchard Professional Solutions LTD are working with local, East Riding based law firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our Client is looking for an experience Legal Secretary, who will be an Integral part of their growing team, providing the best service possible to their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors
- Assist with any billing, invoicing and time recording
- Undertake AML checks and file setup as part of New Client onboarding
- Undertake the preparation, formatting and maintenance of case files and legal documentation
- Manage diaries, schedule and organise meeting and appointments
- Liaise with clients in person, via phone or email in a professional and confidential manner
- Handle data with sensitive, discretion and accuracy
- Undertake general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning, document management and database updates
- Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality across all aspects of work
Requirements:
- Must hold at least 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary
- Ideally have experience within litigation
- Proven competence in typing and MS Office / 365 skills
- Possess strong organisational and time-management skills
- Must have accuracy and attention to detail
- Must hold a professional telephone manger and strong written and verbal communication
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
Role:
- Office based role, located in Beverley
- On site parking
- Monday - Friday
- 09:00 - 17:00
- Up to £28,000, depending on experience
