Orchard Professional Solutions LTD are working with local, East Riding based law firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our Client is looking for an experience Legal Secretary, who will be an Integral part of their growing team, providing the best service possible to their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors
  • Assist with any billing, invoicing and time recording
  • Undertake AML checks and file setup as part of New Client onboarding
  • Undertake the preparation, formatting and maintenance of case files and legal documentation
  • Manage diaries, schedule and organise meeting and appointments
  • Liaise with clients in person, via phone or email in a professional and confidential manner
  • Handle data with sensitive, discretion and accuracy
  • Undertake general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning, document management and database updates
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality across all aspects of work

Requirements:

  • Must hold at least 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary
  • Ideally have experience within litigation
  • Proven competence in typing and MS Office / 365 skills
  • Possess strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Must have accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must hold a professional telephone manger and strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team

Role:

  • Office based role, located in Beverley
  • On site parking
  • Monday - Friday
  • 09:00 - 17:00
  • Up to £28,000, depending on experience
