Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician

Salary: up to £44,000 Basic Salary
About the Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician to join their busy workshop in Huddersfield. Working alongside a skilled team of technicians, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of light commercial vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive workshop environment, with ongoing training and development available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues
- Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
- Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team
- Previous experience as an LCV or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
- Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting fault codes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with manufacturer systems and processes
- Hybrid or EV maintenance knowledge
- MOT Tester qualification
